To help make it as easy as possible for people to get involved in research, Involving People provides training and support.
Training for patients, carers, service users and members of the public

Involving People Induction, 17th March 2010 – There will be an induction training session held at the Future Inn, Cardiff. It will be your chance to meet members of the team and also find out more about what we do.

Support
Involving People offers support to patients, carers and service users getting involved in the following ways:
- Providing advice on getting involved, including what to expect in the involvement process
- On request, meeting with the person getting involved prior to their first involvement activity and/or accompanying that person to their first meeting/activity
Involving People offers support to researchers seeking to involve people in their research in the following ways:
- Providing advice on how best to involve people in research
- Providing advice on how best to 'write-in' such involvement into a research proposal
