Chris Davies
What I do as a member of the Involving People Advisory group
I attend meetings and training sessions and discuss ways of moving forward to improve the Network.
When and why I joined Involving People
I joined Involving People approximately three years ago. I attended a CRC Conference through my work with the Local Health Board and I was invited to join Involving People through this Conference. I accepted the invitation because of my own health problems and I was interested in, through Research, improving my experiences.
What I did before joining Involving People.
I worked in Engineering until early retirement. I was a Community Councillor for many years and also a School Governor.
What I want to do, but have not done yet.
I would like to be part of the process of achieving an improved future for service users. The chance to travel more is also a goal.
Favourite famous quotation.
This may not be a famous quotation but it is one I acquired through my local health trust work and I offered to Involving People as an appropriate saying for our network.
Tell me and I will forget.
Show me and I might remember
Involve me and I will understand.
